Phil Vassar joins Hunger Action Month – September 2008!
The North Texas Food Bank, a network member of Feeding America, is thrilled to partner with Phil Vassar in the fight to end hunger during Hunger Action Month this September! For this inaugural nationwide campaign, Phil Vassar has created a special version of his song “Prayer for a Common Man” with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Feeding America. Mr. Vassar is also appearing in CMT One Country tv spots and country radio promos, making appearances at food banks on tour, and offering free concert tickets and auction items during September. To view the video thank you from Phil Vassar to donors who support the North Texas Food Bank go to www.feedingamerica.org/thankyou.

The Society for Design Administration presents the 13th anniversary of canstruction® Saturday, September 6. Architecture and design firms will create life-sized sculptures made out of canned food items at NorthPark Center in competition with other firms. The structures will remain on display until September 14th. All food used in the structures will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
