Sing Away Hunger
Friday, July 30

The Dallas Karaoke Group will be supporting the North Texas Food Bank with an evening of excitement and fun at Bengal Coast, so Sing Away Hunger with your friends, local celebrities, and others.  A $12 donation gets you free appetizers from 9:00 – 10:00 PM and happy hour pricing on drinks all night, except for what our alcohol sponsor will be providing for free!  Profits from the event will go to the NTFB.  Bengal Coast is offering an optional $15 dinner special, please call ahead for reservations and mention “Karaoke”.  Please email mark@kbxent.com to RSVP for the event.


Blue Mesa's Tacos for a Cause benefiting the North Texas Food Bank

Blue Mesa Blue Mesa Grill is proud of the Tacos for a Cause program, where one dollar for every gourmet taco sold benefits a local charity. The program has donated close to $100,000 since its inception. As of April 1, 2010, NTFB is a beneficiary of the Tacos for a Cause program at the Addison location, located at Beltline and the North Dallas Tollway.

Brad Paisley Concert Canned Food Drive
August 7, 2010

Brad Paisley, Live Nation and North Texas Food Bank are stepping up to raise food donations by offering a pair of Gold Circle Seat Tickets and a pair of “Meet and Greet” Passes to his August 7th H20 World Tour concert at the Superpages.com Center. Fans are asked to donate canned food or water to the North Texas Food Bank tent at the main gates of Superpages.com Center between 11am and 6pm, Saturday, August 7th. The person who donates the most food and/or water will win!

The Home Improvement Show is a consumer trade show targeting the home improvement industry in the D/FW Metroplex. Exhibiting companies provide a product or service that helps homeowners who are attending the show with their remodeling needs, inside or outside the home.


Texas Riders Helping Texans, Inc.'s 3rd Annual "Feed the Kids" Rally

Texas Riders Helping Texans, Inc. is a Texas non-profit group of motorcycle riders and enthusiasts with a statewide presence in Texas. As we rode the highways of Texas and talked with people we met, we became very aware of the economic hardships suffered by many. We became aware of the increased requests being made at the Food Banks across our state and the need for good nutrition for children. Please join us at the 3rd Annual "Feed the Kids" Rally on August 29th at Fat Daddy's in Mansfield to raise funds and awareness for childhood hunger. Entry is only $5 or 5 cans of food!  5 bands will provide live entertainment, and there will be auctions, raffles, bikini bike wash, motorcycle show, and so much more!  For more information visit txrht.org.


Annual Gospel Praise Fest benefiting the North Texas Food Bank
September 25, 2010 , 6:00 pm

Phoenix Lodge No. 648 proudly presents its Annual Gospel Praise Fest on Saturday, September 25, 1010 at 6:00 pm.  Join in the fun at this soul-stirring, foot-tapping concert at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church located at 1967 Canada Drive, Dallas, 75112.  Admission is free, but canned food items and monetary donations will be collected on behalf of the North Texas Food Bank.



The Garden Show

March 26, 2011 (9am-6pm)
March 27, 2011 (11am-5pm)

Collin County Master Gardeners are preparing for the first annual Garden Show in Collin County.  The Garden Show will be March 26th and 27th, 2011 at beautiful Myers Park and Event Center near McKinney, Texas.  This show is focused on providing research based horticulture information to our area residents.  We are inviting sponsors and vendors, who supply products and services needed to keep our lawns and gardens healthy, to help us in educating the public through this event.  Entry fees ($2 or 2 cans) will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.




Dallas Home Site Charity Sponsorship Program

Move for Hunger!

Move For Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with moving companies across the country to help support the efforts of local food banks. Move For Hunger has partnered with local mover, Crown Relocations, to collect unopened food from those who are selling their homes and relocating. Crown Relocation’s professional moving staff will assist in boxing the donations, and make a monthly donation to the North Texas Food Bank.
